Dear old Brunetti - he feels like an good friend by now. The new one is a comforting uncomfortable read again - heavy subject, lovely Brunetti family. The thrill of the new is a bit gone for me with this series, but The Girl of his Dreams is still a pleasant, rewarding read. Even if it does make me want to never go to Venice, so I won't be a bother to my pal Brunetti.
