I inhaled Heredity in one big gulp on my way back from BarCampBrighton3 last week - on two trains, an airport, a plane and another train, finishing it just before I got home. And it was So Good. Very dirty and depraved, with twists and turns I really couldn't anticipate, with an excellent ending as well, just brilliant.
The only complaints I have are a tad too much science explanation going on (though that is probably a personal preference) and the bloody flap text. Please, whatever you do, do not read the flap text before reading the book. It will spoil the whole lovely, accomplished thing.
I have been reading Jenny's blog Light Reading for ages now (and getting very good reading recommendations from it), but had never gotten around to ordering her first book, and now I found it in a second hand bookshop in Brighton! So glad I got to read this.
