little brother - cory doctorow
Mmm. I quite like Cory Doctorow, and I can certainly get behind the politics of Little Brother (as anyone who has heard me hiss "#%$@ security theatre" can attest), but qua book as literature it's not quite a success for me. Good handbook/intro on where to find info about activism and hacking - sure, definitely. Unputdownable, believable characters - not so much. Alas.
Maybe Maureen Johnson should take this book and rewrite it. It would be much better then.
