Pathetic. I blame the flu jab I had this morning for this utterly crap word count - I was getting progressively stupider earlier this evening, though now it seems to be clearing up, thankfully.
On the positive side: the words I did write are very good ones, a neat, compact, introduction that I am totally stealing from Stephen King (I even named my leading lady after him), from his grand Duma Key.
I'd better start picking up speed from tomorrow, though. Being 2500 words behind on day four isn't a very good position to be in. Even if I won't be getting the flu during November.
