Very good progress, and I mostly stuck to my plan of walking my protagonist to his house. He hasn't gotten any further than the garden and the back door, I'm afraid, so it's not a very exciting thing to read yet, alas, but that's all material to work with.
And it's not notes, even if it's full of cliche'd description and the realisation that I'm currently plagued by archaic and stiff words that make my poor guy sound like an old bore. And he's not supposed to be one... Guess that can be fixed in the re-writes. Hopefully.
