In which we learn that good things come to those who work.
Surprisingly easy day today, since I accepted that a. I do not work in a straight line and b. I hear the dialogue first - I do not write according to an outline, and c. it's not pretty when it first comes down the pike, it's mostly just rough dialogue that does not contain description or transitions between scenes or any of that oldfashioned stuff. It's what I hear and that is what it is. The rest is for later.
"But when??", the other side of my brain whinges, "when will that elusive "rest" come already, huh, huh, huh??" To which I say shut up, other side of brain, you are not in charge at the moment. And if you keep yammering and calling for attention we will not have any material to muck about with later on, when we take The Next Step. For now, we just listen and type.
